MEET THE CEO

Anthony B. Jernigan, CLU, ChFC, REBC, CEBS is President and CEO of The Pinnacle Group.  Mr. Jernigan has provided employee benefit consulting services to clients since 1981, and is recognized as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), a Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC), and a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).  Mr. Jernigan has extensive experience in providing employee benefit consulting to corporations, and in conducting Estate and Financial Planning for senior executives and business owners.

Mr. Jernigan is a 1978 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a Hall of Fame Producer with The Equitable, a member of The National Association of Life Underwriters, a member of the Tidewater Estate Planning Council, a member of The National Association of Health Underwriters, a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Professionals (IFEBP).

Mr. Jernigan is involved in a variety of civic and charitable activities. He is actively involved with the MS Society, Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Boys and Girls Clubs and The American Cancer Society. On June 30, 2000, he completed a "bike across country" trip to support The American Cancer Society: he bicycled 50 days from Los Angeles to Boston, personally raising $72,000 for The American Cancer Society.
